Sticking with resolutions
We do it every year. New Year's Eve rolls around and we start making all of these resolutions we want to make for the following year. We get pretty ambitious with them too. Or at least I do. I try to stick with them but somewhere along the way something happens and those resolutions get put on the back burner until next year.
Now that it's February, I'm proud to say so far so good. I have stuck with it. One of my goals was to read more. At least one book at month. Last month I got two books in and I'm currently on my third. Another goal I've made for myself is to run a half marathon. I don't know why. I hate running. But something tells me if I make a goal to run really far I will do it more and just love it. Who knows if it will work, but I guess we will find out.
Another resolution: start a blog. So here we are.
This is my first post and you're probably asking what this has to do with real estate? Well, nothing really. But I'm hoping it will give you an idea of who I am so you can see if my personality fits with the type of person you want to work with to make the biggest purchase of your life. I will at times post real estate blogs too. I also plan to share events and activities that are going on around the region so you can take full advantage of where we live. There is always something going on in the region and I try to make it to as many events as I can. I'm hoping I can give you some tips and advice along the way so you will get the best deals or know where the best parking spot is or who serves the best food.
I started selling real estate at the end of last summer. Before that, I worked in television news for more than seven years. So, more than likely if there's been an event in the region, I've been to it, interviewed organizers about it, and written a story on it. (I've shared a few pictures below)
My goal is to share what I've learned over the years as well as continue to meet people in my community and help clients find the city/neighborhood/home of their dreams that fits into their everyday lives. I'm excited to have you along for this journey!
